November was one of the snowiest on record. We're used to a bit of snow in January and February in Caterham. We even expect a day or two with a light dusting during December, but this much snow at the very beginning of the month is quite unusual.

As usual though, the extreme weather brings out the best in Caterham folk. People are looking out for their neighbours and shopping for the housebound. People are unable to get away from the town to work, so there's more time to stop and chat to one another in the street. Yes, extreme weather definitely brings out the best in the people of Caterham.
There's sure to be some friendly aggression later on though, when locals meet for a big snowball fight in Queen's Park at 4pm. For more pictures of the snow see Is it really only the 1st December!
